Bio:

Don Sumada was born and raised in Hawaii. After attending the University of Hawaii, he moved to New York City to finish up his studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology earning a degree in merchandising. A chance meeting with a stylist led to an assistant's position and the realization of his true calling. Styling combines his love and appreciation of photography, art history, graphic design and fashion. Don has worked at many magazines over the years and eventually led to him going out on his own as a freelance stylist. An avid traveler, his work has taken him all over the world throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and the Middle East. As well as styling fashion shoots, he loves styling fashion shows. Don is based in New York City.
