We Are The Rhoads capture Sony’s new back-to-school global store campaign “The Era of You.” The campaign depicts the energy and spirit of college students by using a variety of different Sony products in college and everyday life scenarios.
Nathan Fox and Tristan Eaton showed at Comic Con, last week in San Diego, CA. The annual convention showcases comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television as well as horror, animation, toys, video games, and anime. It took place this past Thursday through Sunday at the San Diego Convention Center.

Nick & Chloé captured Kyary Pamyu Pamyu on the streets of her native Tokyo. The famed Harajuku model is releasing her first album this summer, called “Moshi Moshi Harajuku.” The techno-pop album is produced by Nakata Yasutaka and is said to include the singer’s unique approach to language through various expressions in her lyrics, often referred to as “Kyary language.” Nick & Chloé photographed Kyary to promote the album’s first press edition.
Gillian Laub will exhibit at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica, California as part of the group show “Fuck Pretty,” opening today. The show is curated by actress Angela Featherstone and is a collection of photographs by world-renowned and unknown women artists, whose work inspires her.
Henry Obasi illustrates a new world campaign for Pony. The classic sportswear brand re-launched earlier this year. Obasi worked with Pony’s head designer Judith Teensma and design hub, Cloud Factory, to create a series of graphics for exhibition, point of sale, and invites.
Diver & Aguilar capture stunning and explosive visuals for Magnum’s latest campaign. The ice cream maker has developed a new technology to put liquid-filled chocolates in their ice cream bars. Diver & Aguilar were commissioned by Lola Madrid to creatively capture this new concept on film. The concept was to create art out of the creative reformulation of the ingredients.
Tara McPherson will exhibit at The Eric Firestone Gallery as part of the group show Nose Art, opening today in East Hampton. Curated by Carlo McCormick, the show is a tribute to the folk art created by pilots in both World Wars by painting images and slogans on the noses of their military planes.
T Magazine toasted their collaboration with The Selby in New York this week with a “feast of friends.” The Selby joined the magazine in January of this year as a contributor with the food-focused column “Edible Selby.” The celebration took place at Isa, a new built-by-hand restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which will open later this month.
Broomberg and Chanarin will sign copies of their book People in Trouble Laughing Pushed to the Ground tonight at Dashwood Books in New York. The book is based on the photography team’s series of the same name, made in collaboration with the Belfast Exposed Archive. The archive started in the early 1980s at the height of The Troubles and includes photography by professional and “civilian” photographers. The photographs show both ordinary moments of everyday life and the violent aspects of life in The Troubles such as protests, funerals, and acts of terrorism.
Tristan Eaton collaborates with Kiehl’s on the launch of their new Ultra Facial Oil Free collection. Eaton created colorful and vibrant illustrations to be used throughout the launch. The artwork will be featured in Kiehl’s stores nationwide, in windows and on table displays and on Kiehl’s website.

Michael Warren exhibited his project “Somebodies” this past weekend at the TEDx conference in Boston. TEDx is an individual initiative based on the TED conferences that bring together people in the community to share ideas and collaborations. Warren’s photographs were displayed for the conference’s participants to view before they began the panel discussions.
Nick & Chloé‘s work is included in Based in Berlin at the Hamburger Bahnhof, Museum of Contemporary Art in Berlin. The exhibition features some 80 emerging artists who live and work in Berlin and covers a full range of contemporary art practices from paintings and drawings to sculpture, photography, film and video, as well as installations and text-based works.
